Summary

This is a remix of elanaut's excellent Chevy Bolt EV Phone Holder/Charger. His was designed to hold an Iphone and a lightning cable. The base plugs into a mostly-useless storage hole in the top of the center console and elanaut designed the complex shape to fit the space perfectly.

This version incorporates a fixed stand that can accommodate the shaft of a windshield or dashboard mounting system that comes with many popular wireless charger cradles available on amazon, ebay, aliexpress, etc. Use a hack-saw to leave behind approximately 3/8" of the shaft behind the swivel ball, and glue it into the square hole in the top of the stand. The ball on the end of the shaft snaps into the back of the wireless charger.

Depending on the wireless charging cradle that you buy, you may have to adjust the size of the square hole in this stand -- by modifying the design or by using a file or knife to trim the printed part.

Secure the stand into the hole in the Bolt/Bolt EUV's console using high-strength 3M double sided tape affixed to the base. Chevy used this console design in Chevy Bolt EUVs and model year 22-23 Chevy Bolts

Print this with ABS or PETG. PLA is more likely to soften and deform under higher summer interior temperatures.

    My design skills are limited and the design will lay "mostly" flat on the printing surface. I recommend printing with the long back-side laying down on the board for maximum strength.
