Summary

I've had issues with my traxxas Hoss, and traxxas Slash LCG, which is that battery latches popping out of the clip and ejecting the battery out of the car. To fix this I made this model which slots in a M3 nut, and a long around M3x15mm bolt. So you can hand screw this in when putting in your battery if you will be doing flips, jumps etc. From my testing it now keeps my batteries nice and secure.

You will have to drill a small ~3mm hole into the front latch mechanism and into the latch. This will NOT comproise the integrity of the parts significantly. (see included picture)

I have included the STEP file for ease of re-modeling (If you do modify it I would love to see it posted and remixed)
