Summary

This is my implementation of the Xiaomi screwdriver case. Please note that the case was developed and tested for HOTO Screwdriver-Lite and was not tested on the higher version (although the higherversion already came with the case included).

To assemble this case, you will need 50 magnets 5x2mm (10 for the bottom plate, 10 for the base, 15*2 for the bit sockets). I used these from AE.

Before printing, please print Calibration Model.stl and make sure everything fits as expected(magnets, bits, screwdriver). If not, download the STEP file and fix everything for yourself. If you are using Fusion360, it is better to download HOTO Case.f3d file because it has a parameterization table and everything is rebuilt automatically.

    I printed everything with red ABS GF4 with a 0.4 nozzle 0.15 layer height.

    For the best result, use 3 walls and 15% cubic infill(182g total).

    The model is designed so that you don't have to use supports. If you are not sure about your bed adhesion, use brim.

Post-Printing

Magnets installation

Press all the magnets into place. They should fit tightly, not fall out under any circumstances, but also not tear the base and bottom plate. If the holes are too small, cracks and white areas will appear on the ABS.

MAKE SURE THAT ALL MAGNETS ARE INSTALLED WITH THE CORRECT POLE!
