I'm new to "the 3D game", so I'm currently working on this model trying out what works and what doesn't.

I'm currently printing 1 of these, but I have 3 kids and want them to have one each so they can put their sweets in a box they can keep in their rooms without being constantly reminded that they have sweets available. My oldest loves it, as she i trying to stay away and she says it helps that the lid (my first edition) was a littlie TOO tight and the lid is really hard to get of! hehe. Hopefully I will get the right tweak on the finished product so that others (if they like) can use it also.

How I Designed This

Step 1. I used a cylinder shape and dragged it to the "oval" shape it has.

Step 2. I used the same shape, but resized it to make it hollow with 8mm walls.

Step 3. I mad a lid, using the same model as in step 1, but shrunk it to 20mm thick so there is something to grap onto. I made a copy and put the copy underneath the lid, making it fit inside the box (at the top) and making the shapes stick together.

Step 4. I attached a decal on top to each of my kids, giving them some ownership over the design.

As this is my first "design", I'm sure I've made som mistakes and I'll have to go back to the drawingboard, but this is the way to learn... from your (my) mistakes! :)
