Summary
Here is my design for the Monoprice Select Mini V2 hotend cooler. It features a larger part cooling duct and nozzle LED mounting to make it easier for you to see your print.
Below is the list of hardware that you'll need to make this design work:
- Two 3mm LEDs
- Six M3x16 screws (2 for attaching to the other half of the housing, 4 for the fan)
- Four M3x6x4.2 heat-set threaded inserts
- One 40mm fan of your choosing (I recommend Noctua)
- Some thin gauge wire
- 2 resistors suitable for your power source and chosen LEDs
Feel free to snip off the little wiring loops on the sides if they're not your cup of tea.
