Summary
Cover Grills for the Apple Pro Speakers.
Manufactured by Harmon Kardon for the PowerMac G4, these design classics are beloved and rarely featured a clear perforated grill. The drivers often get dirty, and I hate the incomplete sphere.
My first 3D project is designing the grills for these speakers, and replacing the proprietary audio jack with copper-clear audio wire and universal RCA audio plugs.
I will be improving the project in future; my next steps will be to make new perforation designs, and to print in clear PLA. I will upload a text in future with instructions in postprocessing, aiming to gain a crystal-clear finish.
