Summary

Some of you that bought a Melnor XT451 Garden Sprayer (a.k.a. a nice metal one that wont break, lol) may have noticed that it broke on the inside where the valve meets the body - if so this will help.

You should be able to print this with minimal supports, but make sure supports don't print on the inside

Supports are required on the O-Ring Grooves as well as the face where the screws are inserted and the outer-most ring where the selector head mates

Post-Printing

Instructions

You will need:

Old Sprayer Body and Valve stem
1x 1/4-20 x 3/4" long screw
all old gaskets (or buy new ones)

Instructions:

remove the old body from the sprayer by first removing the sprayer head (single screw in the middle) and then remove the 2 screws holding the valve body in place.
The old valve body should come right out but may need some encouragement, possibly some percussive-type encouragement
Remove the detent under the selector head, and the mushroom-shaped o-ring from the valve body
Remove the o-ring from the rear of the valve-body
Transfer all these over to the new valve once printed
Insert new valve body, tighten 2 holding screws from disassembly
Install selector head, screw in using your newly purchased 1/4-20 screw
