Summary

This is a 3kg spool holder designed specifically Polymaker 3kg cardboard spools. It utilizes a bunch of crap I had laying around, old worn out creality POM wheels to reduce friction and bowden adapter (pc4-m10).

Oh yeah, the photos I posted are were a test version and don't show the ubiquitous obligatory chamfers.

I had to buy more POM wheels/bearing on my ender 3 (because I had them adjusted too tightly) and I decided to use my old worn ones in this spool holder. Old ones can be used because the face that is worn on the creality printers isn't the face that interfaces with the spool. If you don't have any laying around you can get them many places. There are the ones I purchased from amazon:

You'll also need a bowden adapter (M10)

and 4 M5x30mm screws of any kind.

Use caution when screwing in Bowden adapter, its a tight fit, work in and out, nice and easy.
