Summary

A doorbell, designed in a very weird, overly complicated, and probably naïve way.

A little background: I wanted to design an entire doorbell that would work using a small wireless button. I settled on the Sonoff SNZB-01 Zigbee Switch (affiliate link). I also wanted it to "feel" like a doorbell, so I designed it to be used with springs (I used pen springs) to accomplish this.

Please note that this design uses some snap-in pieces, which may or may not work with your print settings, but can usually be coerced with some sanding/cutting. Also, since it's snap-fit, someone could probably rip this off your house if they wanted to.

Post-Printing

Some sanding may required for snap-fit parts, and I added a bit of 1mm foam to the button flashing to ensure it was somewhat weather-proof.

Instructions

Print one of each part.
Assemble the enclosure by placing the button into the enclosure, and insert your springs under the button as pictured.
Snap the enclosure into the housing.
Insert your wireless button.
Mount your plate where you want it.
Snap your housing onto your plate.
