Summary
A basic pair of coupling hooks to glue to your models.
A chain must be put in the hole of each coupling hook, make sure the chain can slot over the hook before putting it on. To put the chain in the hole, simply make a cut in a single chain loop, bend it open but keep on the rest of the chain in it, slot it through the hole and bend it back into its rightful shape. Repeat this with the other one and cut the chain to whatever length you want. Glue the hooks onto each end of the wagon / loco. Do this to all of the train and you get a realistic and smooth running coupling.
