Summary

Stability port duct with anti-torque vanes as used on my single motor build.

This suits a 3548 motor, 10" propeller and 6mm base foam. The motor beam cutouts are 20x10mm on one side and a bit higher on the other to accommodate the motor wires. It's easy enough to cut them larger.

The lower 6mm of the duct is ~1.6mm thickness to support itself in the foam. The wall dimension is the thickness of the rest of the duct. Print at 0.4mm if possible, every gram counts.

The exact amount of curve in the vanes to counter the residual torque is a trial and error process. You may find a plain (no vanes) duct is actually alright. Excessive curve will cause rotation in the direction of the propeller.

I use the "Mid curve 0.4mm walls" on my build as shown on my 2023 design summary. If you need less curve than this but more than none, I would advise removing a few of the vanes. I can't practically upload dozens of curves.

If you need the "Max curve" vanes I would suggest you have an issue with air leaking from the rear flaps or something. It is far too much on any of my builds. As before if you need less than this but more than the mid curve, cut out some of the vanes.

Once you have the correct curve, this can be glued permanently in place.
