Summary
The original rods didn't line up well with my base plate position so I tweaked the rods a little by shortening them and adding a twist to make them sit flush in the brackets. This solution was needed for mounting my Moza R9 with the base plate in the furthest position. They work perfectly with original brackets created by floano which you need to print. I printed these at 80% infill for extra strength but they could probably be printed with less infill if desired.
