Summary
This is my solution to the issue with Cr10s Pro Y belt not being able to be adjusted leading to wearing and breaking of the belt and bearings.
Print the Screw piece in something that doesn't creep as its under high tension and PLA will start to creep and deform.
I used carbon fiber PETG.
Hardware needed
- Idler gear with 3mm bearing and 12mm diameter for the belt
- M3 18mm screw and hex nut for the idler gear (no teeth)
- m4 22mm screw do act as the lead screw
- m4 large nut to adjust the tension (could print one with m4 threaded insert inside
- 2x M4 22mm to fasten the bracket to the frame
Designed to fit original belt length so if replacing a belt like I did cut to the same length
