Summary

Racket Club is a great VR sports game, but unfortunately there is no option to adjust the position of the racket in the game, so you can't use the racket grip accessory. So until the developers add the option to adjust the position of the racket, I made this to get as close to the feel of a real tennis racket as possible.

It's not a grip but it makes the pico 4 controller feel more like a tennis racket. Its first main function is to add weight to the front of the controller so that you can swing with your arms using the weight of the racket instead of just twisting wrists. The second is that the controller now has the neck of a tennis racket, so you can hold it with your left hand. (Once you start a match in Racket Club you don't need left controller at all, so you just give a thumbs up with your left hand then put the left-handed controller in a safe place off the court, and play with the right-handed controller only).

This attaches well enough to the controller but it's not as firm as other grip accessories, so I wouldn't recommend it for games that require strong swinging, like First Person Tennis. I recommend using it for Racket Club only for the safety of you and your controller...

With this accessory attached (printed 60% infill), the overall weight of the controller is around 300 grams. But still has too much weight on the controller side, so you can put extra weights on the head side for more natural weight balance (the last picture above). The weights can be found on Amazon by searching for "Wheel weights" and you can buy 24ea set around 5$.

There are three parts in total (racket neck, connection, and bolt handle) and you'll need one M6 bolt and nut, and one M3 bolt and nut.
