Summary
3D printed M12 rod end rose joint test.
Used to test the accuracy of my printer.
Ended up settling on a 0.4 gap between the ball and the housing, I'm using a 0.4mm nozzle.
I have a Creality Ender 5
Print Settings
- Rafts:No
- Supports:Yes
- Resolution:0.16
- Infill:10%
- Filament brand:
EBAY
- Filament color:
BLACK
- Filament material:
PLA
- Notes:
Hole ID ended up being 11.85mm on my printer.
Finish around the supports wasn’t brilliant but that’s why it’s a good test as it gives you a chance to play with settings and get the tolerances right.
Can be edited if required.
I’ve not tried scaling it.
