Summary

I was a little sick of "printable" tripod phone mounts that are overly complex, and require metal hardware. So I designed one that only has 3 parts, and you just print double of 2 of them, for a total of 5 parts. The shaft is large enough to hold most tablets in landscape mode, so if it doesn't fit your phone, get something smaller... Tested on a Razer phone 2 (very thick and square), and an iphone 6s plus. (I'm aware the iphone is old. I just don't buy them, and it was someone else's old phone.)

The tolerances are tight, but the material I use is so accurate, that it's still a little loose. Luckily, I planned for that, and it doesn't matter if your tolerances are too loose. Too tight might be a different issue, though.

I, personally, prefer to print the clamp and nut as one, so you don't have to use supports. It's a little messy, but less lost material. You do have to stick a knife, chisel, plaster knife, feeler gage, or something in there to get them to move, but I think it's worth it. Regardless, I included them separately if you prefer a cleaner print, less work, and don't mind the wasted material.
