The rod support have pretty high tolerance that you can adjust with the included screws but the decorating part of the rod has a narrow tolerance to make it stay in place without any screw once you put it on.

Post-Printing

Installation instructions

Predrill holes in your walls then use standard screw plugs and drywall screws.

For the standard included STL files you'll need 3.5mm diameter screws. If you have different screws, you can adapt the design using the 3df file like described above.

How I Designed This

Design

These supports were made to be the sturdiest possible while not using too much material.

There are 2 types of supports included that will work in almost (if not every) use case scenarios :

Classic type - the rod passes through the support
Inserting type - the rod gets inserted into the support with a 90° angle

The holes design and the different angles makes it fully printable without the use of any support.

The holes position and screws where thought not to be seen once installed on the wall.

Parametric design file

I included a 3df file (Fusion 360) with favorited parameter to let you chose whatever size fits your needs.

rod_diameter - the external diameter of the curtain rod

rod_center_distance_from_wall - distance of the center of the curtain rod from the wall (classic support only)

STL files

I included the STL files for the most common rod diameter I could find online.

There are files for 20mm diameter and 28mm diameter rods. If you need any other diameter you can both use the 3df file or post a comment to ask me to upload new diameters.
