Summary

This gear set fits the lower assembly of a Pentair Compool CVA-24 valve actuator. If the shaft seal fails or any of the upper seals fail, water will intrude the gear set and (being steel) they will corrode and fail. The replacement set is $70 (not sure what the tools cost to remove the shaft to fix the seal). I (reluctantly) ordered a replacement set to rebuild the actuator, but before reassembly, I blue printed the gear set and created tools to remove the shaft retainers.

If you have a similar failure, these 3D printed versions should last long enough to either order new steel gears or print new ones as required - I recommend Polycarbonate or Nylon (if you have a heated chamber) or plane old PLA or PLA+ if not subjected to higher temperatures.
