Summary
I decided I needed a counterweight for my Valve Index and being in Canuckistan we don't have pennies anymore but I did have a ton of cheap tire weights I bought off Amazon before. 32 of them is about 200g and it will fit about 36. The benefit of this is that it is shaped to the curvature of the strap so it doesnt really need a backing panel to keep the weights snugged away (but the ones I have can be stuck down but didn't need to). I was working on a back panel but stopped when I realized it really didn't need one.
I also attached a little hook to keep the wire from drooping down the back.
