Summary

This is a riser for Snapmaker J1 printer, featuring closeable ventilation slots on each side.

The J1 Top sheet may be locked using neodym 2x10mm Neodym Magnets in the corners (eg. https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B06X977K8L ).

You will need to print:

2x J1-Top-Riser_FrontConnector.stl

4x J1-Top-Riser_FrontSeal.stl
1x J1-Top-Riser_SideLeft.stl
1x J1-Top-Riser_SideRight.stl
2x J1-Top-Riser_SideSeal.stl

Assembly instructions:

Print everything.
Grind the 6 seals on the top and bottom to make them slide smoothely.
Put the seals in the frond / side Parts. Move them a couple of times if thy do not slide smoothly.
Give each slider a knob of your choice. I used M3 screws with 10mm electronic spacers.
Super-glue the Corner_BottomExtension under each Corner using the given points. This allows printing the parts without support.
Super-glue the slip protectors using the given mount points:
The 2 back parts are using the BackSlipProtector on the middle and outermost points.
The 2 front and side pars are using the FrontAndSideSlipProtector using the outermost points.
Put everything together. Use the FrontConnector to combine thee two left/right parts for the front and Back.
Optional: put a 2x10mm neodym magnet in each corner part.

Note: The parts are designed for printing with a 0.4mm nozzle and a layer height of 0.2mm using PLA. In this setup the parts are fitting nicely together.

Post-Printing

Grind the sliders a little bit on the small top and bottom sides and they will slide nicely within their enclosure.
No more posts-processing is required (unless you have some artist paintings in your mind :-)
