Ever think well IPX was a good extension of a former program? Ever wonder where some good Military Vehicles come from and get repurposed? Auctions! :)

The Star Frame of the Icarus I’ve got to admit I’ve been eyeballing for a while now. So here’s my thoughts on it. It has a multipurpose design intent. I mean the underbelly is crafted just right for a drop support craft. Sort of like a Huey Helicopter. So yeah, That’s going to be showing up too. However, let’s start somewhere right?

So mission wise, let’s start with the First Contact / Survey ship. Well I’ve added Engines, gun’s, because we’ve seen how that can go… Lidar, Radar, anything you’d like with a “dar” on the end, sensors if you will and, a Command Informations Center as the Fore Section.
The idea here is this would be the ship to go in and investigate an abandoned World first.

The 2nd layout is the Base for these Remix’s, it’s just an Explorer Version with the E.F. Centerpieces on it. I mean you can’t let the civilians have it all right? Hence my idea the Icarus was a Surplus Auctioned ship into a Spin off of the E.F. Section turned into IPX.

So Yes, Like the Valkyries, These will have multiple mission oriented types coming in the next few days. So make sure you subscribe and collect. I’m not done with this star frame just yet ;)

If you don’t know the Planet, well then you have to be ready for anything right? That’s my shoe horn into this one. So keep those eyes peeled.

The more I think of this, I think a few others I’ve taken on will get remixed as well and reappear together here as well as other supporting vessels. Want to guess? Well I created the Aethers and the Frigates from the Cruisers, and I just brought in the Psi Corp Ship to transform into a permanent Scientific Colony Platform. So this might end up breaking the 11 models under one Mission / Class vessel pack as well. Maybe an Olympus would be good to here. We shall see what looks right.
