  • Notes:

Designed this to fit a 2xAA battery box to the posts on the Astro A50 headset. I made an LED head tracker for the freetrack program. (It is not pretty but I made it before I had a 3D printer. It works great though) Originally used velcro to fix it to my old headset. I had no sensible way to fix it to the Astro so I made this to fit to the post. The battery pack is fixed to the head tracker and just slides in and out of the mount easily. The hole for the post may be a little small depending on your printer settings. I just heated it with a lighter enough to make it flexible and forced it on. It then shrank back and is tight. If it is too loose heat it and pinch it slightly or use some kind of sticky tape to make a tight fit. When on the head, the posts are not vertical but freetrack or trackhat does not care about that. It may fit other head sets with a 13mm post. Print with supports if you need to. Should print without supports if you go slow with bridging. And plenty of cooling.
