The Mini A.P.E. (Anti-Personal Explosive) is a 3D printed gadget for LARPing, that uses low grade fireworks to simulate a landmine. It works by printing the 2 pieces, and using pop-its or "adult" pop-its. Simply place the device and wait for a un-suspecting player to step on it, causing it to make a loud bang; eliminating them.
I plan on possibly making a MK2 version of this, with a more effective design eventually.
WARNING:
-Make sure to use a durable filament, and clear all holes of supports and debris to avoid fragmentation.
-Do not use outside in public places, the loud bang may cause people to panic.
USE:
-I found that the less pop its are used, the better, as there will be less weight distribution; making it easier for them to go off.
-Ideally use "adult" pop-its, and place them in the horizontal holes in the base.
PRODUCTION:
-Use a durable filament.
-Make sure to clear the holes of supports.
-Perhaps place rubber pads under it, so it doesn't slide on smooth flooring.
