Summary

I designed this to fit in the vent of my MET Echo helmet as there was no suitable space in the center of my helmet to apply the adhesive mount for my Osmo Action camera.

This fits into the rear center vent and provides a mounting platform for the curved adhesive pad that's supplied with the camera.

I printed this using PETG with 100% infill. It attaches to the helmet using velcro that is ~2cm wide. I'd also suggest adding some rubber around the part that plugs into the vent for a more snug fit. I use a section of old innertube.

I've ridden with this attached for a while now and it's very secure. It isn't subject massive amounts of stress when riding, but I would still recommend 100% infill. Or at the very least a higher wall count than usuall.

Previous to this I printed a similar design for a Drift Ghost camera, also out of PETG with 100% infill. That print is still feeling strong after 2 years of constant use in all weather conditions. And had no issues staying attached to my helmet or wobbling abount.
